'Night economy' and local flavor attract tourists

A blooming "night economy" has been attracting consumers and boosting cultural tourism at Starlight Night Market in Xishuangbanna Dai autonomous prefecture, Southwest China's Yunnan province.
The prefecture has put effort into stimulating the nighttime economy to maximize the potential of local cultural tourism. Whenever night falls, Starlight Night Market lights up, with many travelers making a visit to enjoy local ethnic culture, Dai cuisine and traditional handicrafts.
